1. Payment for your lesson is expected prior to each lesson or in advance at
the beginning of each month. We accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard or
Paypal for your payment. There will be a $30 additional fee imposed for any
checks returned to us for any reason.
2. We do impose a 24 hour cancellation policy. Please be courteous of your
instructor and his or her time by giving us adequate notice should there be a
need to cancel your lesson. We understand things do come up, however, we
do expect a phone call or email to the farm at least 24 hours in advance of your
lesson time should you need to cancel your lesson. Expect to be financially
responsible for those lessons not properly cancelled in advance. We are
happy to offer a makeup time should you need to cancel for any reason.
3. We offer loaner helmets for the first few lessons but do expect all riders to
own their own properly approved ASTM riding helmet after the first month of
riding. As well, all riders must wear safe footwear which means a hard soled
shoe or boot with a small heel. Both boots and helmets can be purchased at
the farm.
4. Feel free to bring family and friends to watch your lesson, however, please
be prepared to properly supervise those under 18. As well, parents are
welcome to leave children for their lesson, however, please be sure to check
with your instructor about pick up time following the lesson.
5. Please plan to have enough time to arrive at the farm and prepare your
horse in time to arrive at the ring for your scheduled lesson time and to
properly care for your horse after your ride. Our horses and ponies are good
to us, we expect our students to take good and proper care of them.
Beginners are always assisted with catching and preparing their horse,
however, please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled lesson time.
